QBiotics has achieved significant milestones in its path towards full commercialisation.
We expect the veterinary product to be generating revenue in the Australian market in 2010. Sufficient funding is in place for QBiotics to meet the development and registration costs of this product. The company sees no hurdles other than the standard regulatory processes in order to achieve this.
Development milestones include:
Final Development & Registration: Development of EBC-46 nearing completion through to registration as a veterinary pharmaceutical for dogs, cats and horses.
Production & Manufacture: Production and manufacture of EBC-46 for supply as a human and veterinary pharmaceutical has commenced.
Domestic & International Distribution: Marketing and sales of EBC-46 in Australia and New Zealand, with the drug to be licensed to veterinary pharmaceutical companies for marketing in other countries.
Revenue will be created through product sales, milestone payments and royalties. QBiotics is currently in advanced discussions with several distributors who are very interested in licensing and distributing EBC-46 in Australia and New Zealand.
